Frequently Asked Questions
Does this work better than ChatGPT?
Yes, it does. Data is key in the world of AI. Courtaid.ai has access to 2m+ judgments, acts and legislation from Australia, United Kingdom and New Zealand. Behind the scenes an enterprise search engine is used to find relevant sources quickly and then combine them with your questions sent to the AI model. Generic AI’s do not do this or have access to as much law-specific data as courtaid.Â
In fact Courtaid.ai uses chat GTP 4 under the hood, so you get the benefit of a paid subscription to Chat GPT with relevant law data.
How often is the data updated?
Daily. Courtaid’s data ingestion engine runs daily, grabbing newly available court judgements, decisions and legislation. Some courts, states or provinces might might only publish every few months, so different courts and country data updates will vary depending on the source.
I need a data set added
If you need a data set added such as a court or specific legisaltion we are missing, please request it on the feedback popup on desktop within the app or email [email protected] directly. If there is just one particular document you want added, if you already have access to it you can upload it yourself into a project and query it.
Can I change my plan?
Yes, you can change your plan at any time. Any downgrades or cancellations take affect at the end of the current billing period. Our plans are managed through the stripe platform, which you can access through the app or this link directly, make sure you use the same email in stripe as you use for your account in courtaid.ai.
Does anyone see my data?
No, no one sees your queries. Courtaid.ai is a Microsoft startup, so we run on Azure and use enterprise security. We also have our own deployment of open ai models on the azure cloud, so your queries are not used to train open ai models.Â
